There was a time when I thought I was done with video games forever. I had gotten to the point where all video games just seemed the same to me so what would be the point in buying another stupid system just to play the same ol shit, but with prettier graphics. Then my girlfriend reintroduced me to the world of video games, and now video games just seem better than ever. I've gone to a bunch of gamestops and bought old used xbox games that I wanted to play when they first came out but never could afford them until now. Any way I've gotten back into videogames, and now i'll get into why i'm posting this journal.

I've pretty much decided that once I get a job, the first thing I'm going to buy once I have enough money is one of the the next generation systmes, either an xbox 360 or a playstation 3, (I don't even care about the wii). I'm going with one system because there aren't that many games that I want to play and most of the one's I do wanna play are on both systems. The things that matter most to me are performance and graphics. I don't care about online play or downloadable content I dont use that stuff. I hear the xbox has better graphics for a lot of the games that are out now, but i also hear that it has a lot of matainence issues. I heard the same thing about the PS# that it crashes a lot but I've been doing some reading on the topic and I hear more stories about xbox 360 crashing than I do about the PS3. I've read from a guy who works at as a game developer that he believes that the xbox is overall a better system than the PS3 but than I hear how the playstation 3 uses better technology and it's a better system in the long run, with little chance of it breaking down.

obviously i'm torn in between the two. Both have a lot to offer So I'm asking, if anybody out there has some input in which system they think I should buy, (Especially if you yourself own both systems) please let me know, and give me a brief explanation as to why. THANKS!!!
